Motors Corner presents this 1966 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass Supreme Convertible, one of the defining American muscle cars of the 1960s and among the most desirable performance models produced by Oldsmobile.
Powered by a 455ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission with a B&M shifter, this example delivers the performance and character that you would expect from a big American Muscle Car.
The engine is running strong. This example is in very good overall condition. The previous owner spent the last fifteen years restoring it using quality components.
Interior
The interior is in good condition. The seats have been reupholstered in genuine leather. The chrome trim is bright, and additional gauges—including a tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltmeter—have been added.
Mechanical Condition
The car is in very good mechanical condition. We have just invested over $3,000 in maintenance so the next owner can focus on enjoying the driving experience.
The engine starts easily and runs great.
A recent compression test confirmed excellent engine health, with all eight cylinders measuring between 167 and 180 psi. The 7.5% variation between the highest and lowest readings is well within the accepted 10–15% range, indicating a strong and healthy engine.

Exterior
The car is finished in a high-quality metallic red paint that was applied approximately fifteen years ago and still presents well. The stripes and accent details are painted, not decals. The chrome trim is in beautiful condition.
The VIN shows that the car was originally painted in Burgundy Mist. The soft top has been converted to manual operation. The convertible top fabric is in excellent condition, as is the rear plastic window.
